We’re on the lookout for a clinically trained professional - whether you're a nurse, physiotherapist, or other healthcare expert - with strong leadership skills to join us as a Healthcare Manager at two of our facilities: Noordhoek Manor and Cle Du Cap. A key aspect of your leadership will involve collaborating closely with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) including doctors, nurses, therapists, care workers, and social workers - to coordinate and continuously enhance the delivery of personalised, holistic care. You’ll facilitate regular MDT meetings, guide clinical and operational discussions, and foster a collaborative environment where each professional’s input contributes to outstanding patient outcomes.

Specific duties include but is not limited to the following:
Resident & Family Engagement:
Continuously assess and uphold high standards of customer service.
Ensure the delivery of quality, person-centred care and services.
Clearly communicate available services to residents and interested parties.
Maintain regular contact with residents’ families, offering guidance, support, and assistance when needed.
Address and resolve complaints with empathy and professionalism, offering advice and counselling as required.
Stakeholder & Health Professional Relations:
Establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals and external partners.
Ensure service delivery processes align with high standards of customer satisfaction.
Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance the overall client experience.
Facilitate and lead regular Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, ensuring productive discussions, clear decision-making, and follow-through on assigned actions.
Marketing & Occupancy Management:
Drive occupancy levels to achieve and maintain full capacity.
Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure efficient patient admissions and timely discharges.
Promote the facility through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organisation’s services and offerings.
Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team and senior leadership to set and review goals and strategic objectives.
Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure service offerings remain competitive and relevant.
Operational & Administrative Responsibilities:
Oversee incident reporting and investigations, ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up.
Oversee the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Manage all aspects of resident admissions, transfers, extensions, and discharges, ensuring accuracy and seamless transitions.
Implement systems to optimise income generation and operational efficiency.
Be present for and coordinate all regulatory inspections, including those by the Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Social Development (DSD).
Lead the implementation of infection control procedures during outbreaks or suspected infections, maintaining resident and staff safety.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, or a related field
- Experience in healthcare, hospital, frail care or geriatrics (highly advantageous)
- Strong leadership, and team-building abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

Specific Requirements:
- Clear health record
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Two Written references
- Own reliable transport
You will converse with people on different levels - staff, families, MDT and other professionals coming into the facility, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
Normal working days are Monday to Friday, 07h00 to 17h00 with a 60-minute lunch break.
As the Healthcare Manager, you will be expected to be available after hours to respond to emergencies and urgent matters as they arise.
