Faircape Health provides the full continuum of care at six world-class healthcare facilities located on-site at six luxury, retirement villages.

The services of an experienced Carer Supervisor is required in the Southern Suburbs. The successful incumbent is required to ensure the supervision of the Carer Team to facilitate practical, physical, social and emotional care for residents and patients at the Healthcare Center:

Duties include but is not limited to the following:

  • Overseeing all the carer staff
  • Ensures smooth running of operations on the floor
  • Ensures adherence to policies and procedures by carer staff
  • To assist in leading, supporting and driving the team to achieve outcomes in the day-to-day performance of their job
  • Assists with training of new and current staff members
  • Ensures high levels of grooming of staff members
  • Does regular quality control checks
  • Ensures that residents/patients receive the highest standard of care
  • Ensures adherence to care plans
  • Ensures that the Carers contribute to the creation of a therapeutic and relaxing environment within the healthcare facility.
  • Ensure proper carer allocation and staffing levels
  • Reports any concerns to the line Manager, informally and via written reporting
  • Assists with department administration

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and qualifications:

  • Grade 10 - 12
Experience:
  • 1 - 2 Years proven Supervisory experience

Working Hours: Normal working days are Mondays to Friday from 07h00 until 17h00.


Benefits:

Salary from R 18,000 Cost to Company per month
